Hi, I'm Newsha Syeh. Alot of people might know me as 'mewsha'. I'm honoured to share my life and beliefs with two hundred thousand people online, and many of those people have felt changed, touched or inspired by the images and words I've shared. To live the life I do, and to touch the hearts of the people I have, took great sacrifice and love from someone I would like to introduce you all to. My mother got married at 17, escaped her country with two children, and left all her friends, family and comforts to begin an incredibly long and difficult journey to freedom. Currently, my mother acts as inspiration for superman in her spare time. She's fighting cancer, working on her feet 4 days a week at her salon, and spending the other three days studying psychology at age 43 with a massive English barrier and no highschool diploma. She didn't even slow down. But now, after surgical complications caused her long term injuries, she can't work half as much. She's living alone, with rent for her home, rent for her shop, petrol for her car, and a storm of medical bills. For the next year she'll be in intensive physiotheraphy for her arm, as well as medical costs for her Thyroid cancer treatments and more potential surgeries for new tumours that have emerged. She needs help. We need to help her. We need to help individuals like my mother get past the darkest chapters of their lives and back on their feet so that they can go on to help and inspire hundreds of others. She doesn't need much. Any donation, no matter how small, will be a donation towards love and hope and all the things that the world has far too little of. Every donation will be a F*ck You to Cancer and an I Love You to every single mother out there.
