Barbara Ekberg has been a very dear friend of mine for over 20 years. B as we call her, lives in GA and I live in AR. Even though we live far apart we have remained close. B is a wonderful and fun loving woman whom all her friends adore very much. She is retired from the BOE and currently works at Sea Island Resorts. B is a mom to Maria a school teacher and Jeremy an English professor who lives in China. B needs our help now! She has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. B will have to travel soon to Mayo Clinic to have major surgery! Her recovery will be a very long one.
