National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF)

Alii and Hello to all friends and family! Philia “Kekke” has been nominated by her teacher Mr.  Glenn Frizell of Johnson Elementary School to participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Pathway to STEM, and envision program to be held at Loyola University in Chicago, IL this summer, 2019.  She will have the opportunity to join other young students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands on workshops focused on five skills that are essential to success: self management, time management, communication, collaboration, and goal setting.  Because NYLF Pathways to STEM is such a high quality program, they expect full enrollment and in fact, enrollment often exceeds available space and all registrations are accepted in order of receipt.  We are so thankful and Blessed for this opportunity! We are so proud of her!
