We, the New York Mixed Chorus (NYMC), have been bringing music to our community for over 20 years. Based in the New York Metropolitan area, we organize concerts a couple of times a year and perform at senior care facilities, churches, local festivals, and more. Thanks to your warm support, we proudly celebrated our 20th Anniversary last year.

This year, we have launched a crowdfunding campaign to make our Annual Concert possible. Unfortunately, our financial situation remains challenging. Membership has declined since the pandemic, and rehearsal studio fees have risen significantly in recent years. As a result, it has become increasingly difficult to allocate sufficient funds for our Annual Concert.

As in the past two years, we would love to host a reception to thank our audience and supporters. We also hope to hire a professional photographer and videographer to capture this special performance. With your kind support, the funds raised will go toward the following expenses to ensure the success of our Anniversary Annual Concert:

Goal: $4,000

Intended use:

• Reception after the Annual Concert

• Professional photography and videography

• Printing of the concert program

• Honoraria for instructors (conductor, pianist, music supervisor)

Our activities this year include:

• June: Mini Concert at the Japanese American Association (JAA)

• July: Performance at the JAA Tanabata Festival

• November: Annual Concert (planned)

• December: Performance at the JAA Gala (planned)

• December: Performance at senior care facilities

ニューヨーク混声合唱団 定期演奏会への支援のお願い

我々、ニューヨーク混声合唱団（The New York Mixed Chorus［NYMC］）は設立以来、年に数回のコンサートと、老人施設、教会、地域イベントでの演奏など、NYを中心に地域に根差した活動を行って参りました。弊団はおかげさまで昨年、創立20周年という節目の年を迎えることができました。

本年の定期演奏会の開催にあたりまして、皆様のご支援を賜りたいと思いクラウドファンディングを立ち上げました。パンデミックの影響もあり団員数が減ってしまったことに加え、ここ数年の物価上昇の煽りを受けた練習会場費の高騰などの影響により、団の財政状況は厳しい状況が続いております。

今年も過去2年と同様に、演奏終了後に来場者や支援者の皆を交えささやかながらレセプションを開催したいと考えております。併せて、演奏の記録をプロの方に依頼して映像で残したいと思っております。これらのほかにも、皆様からのご支援をいただけましたら下段の費用に充当させていただき、今年の定期演奏会を成功裏に開催したいと存じます。
