Medley Family House Fire Fund

Donation protected
David Medley and Amy Young's house caught fire on September 8, 2016.  They have 2 children:  Ava, age 10 and Gwen, age 3 months.  Thankfully, no one was home at the time of the fire, so they are all safe.  The house and all of the contents are a total loss.  The only belongings they have are the clothes they had on yesterday and a few baby items packed in the diaper bag.

Dave and Amy's wedding is planned for Saturday, September 10, 2016, and they have decided to go ahead with these plans.  The lost everything for the wedding (rings, decorations, etc.) ... except for her wedding dress!

They have insurance, but, we all know that it takes time to get all of that in place.  When asked what their initial needs were, they were reluctant to voice their needs.  I have explained that their family and friends want to help them and after a long conversation, they decided that their initial need was cash to help with the unexpected out of pocket expenses they are already seeing (formula, diapers, clothes, etc.)

I have known Amy for over 25 years and I want to help her and her young family the best way I can.  If you do not feel comfortable making an online donation, checks or gift cards can be sent to me at 72 Clover Lane, Parkersburg, WV  26101.

Lots of things will need to be purchased withn they find a house to move into.  I assure you that all monies will be used for their initial expenses and then used wisely after they move into their new home.

Thank you in advance for your support to this wonderful family.
