Better Bettesu Tuition
Donation protected

My name is John Lendein and this is my story. I have been working in conjunction with Bethel Community Church in Edmonton, AB to raise money for the Bettesu Community School.
Students in Bettesu, a community in Liberia, Africa, formerly had to walk 1.5 hours each way to school on a daily basis. John's dream was to build a school within his home community to give all chuldren the gift of education, without having to travel lengthy distances.
This dream was accomplished in 2014, when Bettesu community, in conjunction with Bethel Community Church, broke ground for the school. The project was completed and opened on November 7, 2015. As you can see in the attached photos, there are many children who are now benefitting from having a classroom within their community!
John's dream is to continue to operate the school for future years, but this can be expensive! So he is reaching out to you for help. John's goal is to raise $2,500 CAD, which is half of the amount required to operate the whole school for the entire year!
Photos of John's recent trip to Liberia are attached. As you can see, education is so important to the entire community, and creates a sense of identity for Bettesu.
For more of John's personal journey and connection to Bettesu, see the attached link.
All contributions, no matter how big or small, are welcomed. John cannot keep this school running without the support of generous individuals like yourselves! The students of Bettesu, their parents, and John thank you! You are making a difference in the lives of many children. Let's keep this school open for generations to come - all children deserve the right to an education.
