Help Carolyn Fight Leukemia
Donation protected
At the beginning of August, Carolyn Crouse (7) was everything you would expect a young girl to be. After months of being cooped up inside, she was able to enjoy playing with her neighborhood friends. However, by the end of August, she was not acting like her bright and lively self. She seemed extra tired and did not have the energy to maintain her active lifestyle. Gail took her to the doctor where she was diagnosed with strep and given amoxicillin. A week later, the medicine had not made a dent in Carolyn's pain. Before her parents could make a follow-up appointment, Carolyn began to have seizures. After multiple tests in the ER, Carolyn was flown to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. It was there that she was diagnosed with HR-B ALL Leukemia. I am Carolyn's aunt, and we have started this page to help Carolyn fight this terrible disease and get her back to running carefree through her neighborhood.
Carolyn is currently undergoing treatment and is responding well. However, she will have a long road to recovery. There will be many unknowns in the upcoming months and years. Gail and Walt could use all the love and support they can get to focus their time and energy on helping Carolyn get back to her healthy, funny, smart, mermaid loving self. Any little bit can help ease the horrible nightmare that is a childhood leukemia diagnosis. I know I speak for many when I say this is a time when all you want to do is help but feel like there's so little you can do.
Please join the Crouse family in their fight to beat this diagnosis. Your PRAYERS, donations, thoughts, and the items you have already donated for her bedroom makeover are so immensely appreciated.
