Help Jim Bennett
We're reaching out to you to ask for your support on behalf of our friend Jim Bennett. Jim was diagnosed in March of 2019 with an extremely rare blood disease known as Light Chain Deposition Disease, (“LCDD”), associated with Multiple Myeloma cancer.
It started with blood cells in the bone marrow producing crystal-like deposits that caused Jim's kidney to fail, and also affected his liver function.
It's a difficult disease to treat, and as a result of its complications, Jim has been undergoing dialysis, paracentesis, transfusions, and most impactful, chemotherapy, and has been unable to work and it's doubtful he'll ever be able to work again.
Jim's devastating diagnosis came shortly after his daughter’s college graduation, her wedding and relocation to Texas, all within a 3-month period! It is easy to assume in life that you’ll recover financially from such a whirlwind of events, but now with the medical bills pouring in he is in a desperate financial situation and now his continuing life-sustaining treatments are in jeopardy.
