National Young Scholars Program

Hi my name is Sofia. I am 8 years old and in second grade! This year my teacher nominated me for the National Young Scholars Program in Chicago!!!! I never thought this would happen to me!!! She nominated me and I got invited to go! When my mom had Covid she told me to keep up the good work in school and I did ! I love being in school and learning. I even met my reading goal in school!! I am inspired by Alicia Keys. She wrote a book called Girl On Fire and it inspired me to always do my best and to keep reading and learning. The program costs includes teachers, food and all the supplies to help me learn. Please help me get to my goal so I can go to Chicago and join many children like me who like to learn. I am one of my second grade class with this opportunity to go and I do not want to pass it up. Your small donation can help me get there!!!
