Hello America,
We, the Police Officers of Spencer, Oklahoma, want to thank you for reviewing our story. As it stands now, our full-time officers are responding to high risk situations without higher levels of ballistic & protective gear. It's necessary for officers to be equipped with higher levels of ballistic materials found in body armor, helmets and shields. We believe our officers need ballistic armor to protect them from the dangers of an increased rifle threat.
Unfortunately, these plates , carriers, helmets, shields and suppressive equipment are not typically standard issue for most cities, including the City of Spencer.
Your kind donations will go towards purchasing equipment and gear for seven (7) full-time officers.
These officers and their families will greatly appreciate the increased protection and security. Thank you for supporting your local men and women officers at the Spencer Police Department!
