This past year has created quite a few challenges. Through all the adversity Lucille has continued to work and be there for her family & friends. On September 23, 2021, Lucille Ross, her daughter and grandchildren lost everything due to an early morning house fire. They walked away with just the clothes on their backs. For Lucille, the fire occurred a little over one year after losing her husband John Allen Ross to COVID and a week after laying her eldest brother to rest. This has definitely been a devastating blow.

Over the past 6-8 months, she had just used the money she saved to renovate and make it a beautiful home again, which is what her husband wanted before he passed away.

Starting over at this time is extremely difficult. It’s hard for her to find the strength to move forward and rebuild because she’s worked so hard for so many years to obtain something she owns. Lucille is a woman who leans on her faith but can't do this alone. So in any way you can contribute it will help this family as they will be out of a home for quite some time.
