Let me tell you a little bit about my vibrant friend, Emily. She is a proud wife to Christopher, a loving mother to her adorable two-year-old daughter, Joanna, and a heck of a work colleague. Her bubbly and sassy personality is contagious, and she is always up for a good time; she will also talk your ear off about anything "true crime" when given the opportunity. She truly is a treasure!

On August 1st, after weeks of testing, life as she knew it changed. Emily received the heart-wrenching news that she has Stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The projected treatment plan is six months of chemotherapy every other week.

With her treatments starting August 15th, we are trying to raise money to help her with the astronomical medical expenses that she will acquire and the missed wages that both she and her husband will have.

According to her doctor, she has a promising prognosis. Any donation amount will be such a blessing and allow her to concentrate on a full recovery.
