Kirby Hames Fire Restoration Fund

Greetings from Taylorville, Il, home of Kirby Hames, PS Printing, and the proud Taylorville Sertoma Club. I'm Larry Peterson, a good (alright....great) friend of Kirby. Kirby and I go back a long way. I introduced him into Sertoma, golfed with him in way too many charity outings, help "roast" him on his 50th, and have done printing business with him for over 30 years.
Last week, July 27th, PS Printing had a devastating fire. Kirby's business was heavily damaged. And to add insult to damage, there was considerable smoke damage to his and Kate's apartment upstairs. Fortunately, no one was injured and all pets were saved. Kirby's mother had just passed away a month ago; they are now trying to recover the many pictures and mementos they had laid out.
Kirby is working with the insurance company and trusts everything will be covered. He has secured another building (from a fellow Taylorville Sertoman) to set up shop and has printing friends in nearby Springfield to help in the transition. Of course, the insurance company has arranged temporary housing for Kate, Becca, and Kirby. However, they sure would like a place that would accommodate their pets. Hopefully, they will find more permanent housing in next 60 days.
I'm just guessing, that in times and events like this, unexpected and perhaps uncovered expenses will arise. That's why I'm putting out this solicitation letter to give people the opportunity to show their concern and love for Kirby. If you want to simply write a note, here is his email.
