Dearest friends and family,

It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of Corey Douglas Thompson, my beloved husband of thirty years. He passed away unexpectedly at Hilo Medical Center on September 22, 2021. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a strong young man with an abounding soul. Corey brightened the lives of everyone he met with his beautiful smile and selfless need to serve others. He was a special spirit, with a heart of gold, and had a precious soul. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful angel. As you can imagine I was not prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service. To compound this great loss I am also experiencing financial disruption and will have to vacate the home that we shared together. That is why I am reaching out you all in hopes that you’ll show your love and support for me. Thank you so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read about my forever love.
