Hi all, It's very hard for me to swallow my pride and ask for help but unfortunately it's necessary today. As many of you already know.. my best friend and companion, Aiko, has been diagnosed with a very rare aneurism and will require a trip to New York to be handled by the very best. The vets here in Florida have been absolutely amazing, Holly Humphries with her team at All Animal Clinic and the dozens of people who helped us over the past few days in London, England and West Palm, Florida but unfortunately it is now out of their hands. Dr. Weisse at AMC in New York is collaborating with vets from around the country, including our favorites here and human cardiologists to find the best approach to surgery. I am trying my best to cover expenses myself but the bills have been and will be adding up extremely quickly. If you've ever met Aiko, you have seen the light he has brought to my life. People have always asked me, "Who saved who?" when they see us together. Truthfully he saved me. Now it is time for me to save him. I am begging you to help me do that.
