Missy Burchfield Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Due to expenses incurred from his wife, Missy’s, tragic death, Staff of USD 436 is creating a Go Fund Me account to help Eric Burchfield meet his financial obligations. Through the years he has touched countless lives as he has worked for the school district. Eric has worked as a custodian in the USD 436 school district since 1999. He started at the high school and was moved to Lincoln Memorial Elementary as the day custodian. As the day custodian, he is relied upon to unlock the building and teachers rooms, keep the cafeteria clean after breakfast and lunch, miscellaneous clean-ups throughout the building due to spills and sick students, mail runs, periodic safety checks on fire extinguishers and safety lights, and occasionally light maintenance. In addition to all these responsibilities Eric makes time for all the students in the building. Just about every lunch there is a student who requests to eat their lunch with him and he is always more than happy to spend time with them. The majority of the students in the building have interacted with Eric in some way. His presence in the building is appreciated by all the staff and children at Lincoln.

Donations can also be made in person at Community National Bank.
