Jo Aird Our Mum in Coma Melb RIP

Our mum joanne, aged 46yrs old a single mother of 6 was suddenly struck sick on saturday 20th august 2016, our mother fell ill and was unresponsive when ambulance arrived and since was placed into an induced coma in ICU here in ballarat.
As time progressed she further went down hill and started to have seizures that become more frequent continuously lasting longer.
It is suspected encephalitis which is inflammation to the tissue in the brain however results from many tests are all unsure.
As of wednesday 24th August she was transferred to melbourne in a deeper sedation to the neurologists and specialists that are the best in this area of expertise.
To this day she has not woken up once to speak or to see whats going on.
With only it being 7days with no answers and our mother getting more sick its become apparent that its not going to be an easy road ahead.
With her having 6 children including myself the ages range from 14 to 30, im married but the rest live with her and now are staying with family but mostly within the family home. We need to pay her rent, gas, electricity, credit card fees, food and general living expenses and money has ran out already with what we could gather. We have no access to her accounts have been in contact with a social worker but bills cannot be stopped or fees frozen as we arent the account holders.
Im the next of kin and i too have children of my own that im needing to look after with my husband who are 4 and 3mths old, keeping the stress down infront of them and myself so i can continue to breatfeed my baby and support my brothers and sisters and other family members through this tough time, as well as taking the calls from the hospital doctors and answering all the questions is very draining and wearing in itself.
No answers to this day with whats happened to our mum joanne, as we pray, cross our fingers and worry we know that everyone is thinking of us and helping in all kind of ways already with what they can.

So all we ask is for any amount big or small to help us keep above water before during and after our mum comes too, to assist with the stresses and burdens an illness brings.

Hoping any answers are found soon and she wakes up, however even if she wakes we dont know what the severity is of whats caused this and what her future looks like.
