Last night, my grandma unfortunately passed away. 09/13/2025. At the age 92.

we are raising funds to cover costs to transport, bury, and send her off from where she is now and bury her where my father was born and raised.

Where her body is right now is where war in South Sudan is happening (raiding houses, unlawful arrests if a current tribe member, death, a whole lot more ) We just want to rest her where she will be allowed peace.

We will miss her, so so much. All my grandma wanted was her homeland to be free, and her children and grandchildren to thrive in America and to hopefully come back when we are in unity and at peace. To see her go without being able to visit her one time since we've been in the states is unfortunate.

I’d like to take the time to ask for prayers. Prayers for my grandma and South Sudan. Days are getting worse, teetering on a brick of a civil war. No one talks about South Sudan, with all the blood being spilled and for what? The president of Sudan is the problem and reason. WE WANT TO BE FREE, that’s all we want. Free from the corruptions of leaders who only care for themselves, money and power. We shouldn’t have to be so stressed out trying to get her body away from there in fear that her body will be bombed, harmed, or even taken. Having the power to stop things but choosing not, the people of South Sudan are suffering.
