Hi my name is Emily, I am a single mother and mobile in home groomer. I have been grooming dogs, cats and the odd bunny or trimming of guinea pigs nails for 22+ years. It's what I know, what I know how to do well and what I love. Before covid I was doing relatively well for myself and when my trusty Toyota Sequoia died of old age I was able to purchase the first brand new vehicle I have ever owned, affectionately dubbed Freddy. I was so proud of myself! But Freddy is not only my car Freddy is my bread and butter, my bacon, my traveling office. I cannot work without him, he drives me to work, he carries all my tools he keeps a roof over my head! With a lot of personal and family stressers over the last year and a considerable slow down in work over the past 3 years my health, mental and physical have not been great, making me skate on the edge and get by by the skin of my teeth as far as bills and general living needs were concerned. I fell behind but didn't realize until it was too late exactly how far behind. It's embarrassing to admit and I feel ashamed to ask for help but I don't know what else to do. I was in the process of getting enough cash together to take to the bank and stop the repossession of my vehicle but was unable to do so and dodge the collectors in time, I was literally a day away from my goal. My car was repossessed in the early hours of Thursday morning and I am now informed that I will need 3 times the initial amount needed to get Freddy back. Over $3000.
I am not good at asking for help always more likely the one to give and am going against every fiber of my being opening up like this and thank you with every fiber of my being for any amount of help. Much love.
