Blossom Heights Flood Relief
Donation protected
As a result of the recent storms in Houston, our beloved preschool, Blossom Heights experienced severe flood damage and is in desperate need of structural repair including new floors and sheet rock. With the help of a wonderful staff, amazing parents, and the sheer will of its loving director, Blossom Heights was only closed for 2 days. But it took a huge amount of work and diligence to get the water out and create a safe space for the children.
We have been blessed to have found this school and this community. The change in our daughter over the past year has been so miraculous to watch. We’ve seen her shyness evaporate as she’s made great friends and felt safe in an environment that encourages her to be strong and independent. To speak her mind, but to care about and consider those around her. I can’t imagine losing this wonderful place and these people who have become our family.
In the coming weeks there is still much to do as furniture, rugs, and play equipment were lost. But first and foremost, we need to fix the floors and the walls. Please consider donating and helping us to repair this beautiful place that truly is a second home.
