Mike Couture is Awesome!

I met Mike Couture about 3 years ago.  He had just had surgery to remove cancer from his neck.  He was looking for some work to help cover his medical costs.  Mike owned his own construction business but had to shut everything down when he was diagnosed with cancer.  He moved from Oregon to California to stay with a childhood friend and his family.  I've never met anyone so strong and so positive.  He had part of his neck removed and can't turn his head from side to side.  But when you ask him how he is doing, Mike always replies, "Great!" with a smile.  He is so happy to be alive and cancer free.  He never asks for a dime.  He's always there to give you a ride, to DJ your event, to listen to your story, and to make you laugh your ass off.   Mike just found out that some of the hardware in his neck is hitting nerves in his spinal column.  It's extremely painful.  (But Mike will never let you know that.)  He may have to have more surgery to fix this.  He has been working odd jobs and able to pay his medical bills, rent, and living expenses for a long time.  But with the advent of this new information, Mike will have to pay for more CT scans, MRIs, and even more three letter medical tests...NOT to mention the surgery and even the recovery.  They may have to go back INTO THE MAN'S NECK.  I can't believe it.  And Mike just walks around like it's another day in paradise.  So, I created this gofundme for this angel among us.  Mike would never allow me to do this but I don't care.  I know a lot of people love Mike almost as much as I do and many more of you love Mike MORE than I do and that's ok cause MIKE COUTURE IS AWESOME!  Please donate whatever you can.  I'd love to reach the goal and in an amazing world, crash through it.  Any little bit helps to make this shinning star not have to worry as much as he's had to over these past few years.  Mike Courture is an inspiration to so many of us.
