Help us make it through the month

Hello everyone,
I have tried like the plague not to post our babies story, but it’s come down to needing help.
Our beautiful boy was born sept 30,2022
3 weeks early after a failed induction that left me in labor for 5 days, 3 of which hard labor all to end in an emergency C-section anyway.
Bubba Bear ended up getting stuck in the birth canal and with every contraction was having his head smooshed.
This created a life threatening breathing problem.
Bear was taken straight from my belly to the NICU for resuscitation.
Because of the urgency to get him out my surgery was very intense.
I ended up loosing a lot of blood and my anesthesia wore off as they had me open.
They ended up knocking me out with a heavy sedative to finish the surgery, meaning I don’t remember anything. I don’t remember him being born, when he was brought out, was never allowed skin to skin, my husband unable to cut the cord, basically any bonding was gone.
The decision was made to place him on thereputic hypothermia in order to minimalize any potential brain damage.
My husband and I were still in surgery for another 2 hours as my bleeding was being controlled.
When I woke up I learned of what happened, and hours later (8.5 hours after birth) I finally saw him.
At the time he was intubated and then I learned I was not allowed to touch him in order to keep his temperature down and brain calm.
So far he is still in this therapy, Christopher and I have only gotten to hold hands and touch feet to this point.
As of now his breathing apparatus have been removed, and they have begun rewarming him.
We finally got to see our sons face without tubes and tape today.
I will finally be getting released from the hospital after 5 days of labor, as well as 5 days post op healing.
Bear still has some time in the NICU.
If you know us, you know we live extremely rural and having a 2 hour drive daily is not financially or physically do able.
We will be staying in a room here in Sacramento not far from the hospital until Bear is ready to come home.
I have set up this account in hopes that some may be able to assist in the next months expenses while we are waiting for FMLA and other things to come through in order for us to keep up.
Money donated will primarily be for travel, food expenses, other necessities while being away from home. Any thing not used in these ways will go to paying our monthly bills and rent.
Thank you
