Recently, our dear friend Ashy was involved in a serious workplace accident, falling from a few metres high. He’s currently being treated at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with multiple injuries, including three broken ribs, a broken hand, and a fractured skull. The fall caused a bleed between the skull and the brain, which required emergency surgery to relieve pressure and prevent further complications.

Ashy has already begun occupational therapy and physiotherapy, but these treatments will be ongoing and essential to his recovery over the coming months.

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for Ashy and his loved ones. His family has been travelling to Brisbane to be by his side, staying in hotels each night to support him through his recovery. We’d love to help ease the financial pressure this has placed on them—from travel and accommodation costs to medical and rehabilitation expenses.

If you know Ashy, you know he has the biggest heart. He’s always the first to lend a hand, offer a kind gesture, or show up for others when they need it most. He’s poured so much love and energy into this community, and now it’s our turn to return that love and support to him, Rhea, and Bobby.
