Hi, my name is Ashley and I'm fundraising for Jae & his best bud Aspen. Aspen is an 8 year old Australian Shepherd who's been living his best life with sister Melas and single dad Jae. Anyone that has met Aspen & Melas knows how sweet, loving, and playful they are. Aspen loves to lean up against you and ask for butt scritches, and he'll thank you by leaving fur all over your clothes! He loves the outdoors and you might find him playing fetch in the ocean or camping with Jae.

Yesterday, Aspen was taken to the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley where the doctors believe he may have liver cancer. They are running more tests and will be keeping him there until they can confirm what led to a sudden health decline. Unfortunately without pet insurance, this emergency visit will rack up a hefty bill. Any donation to this fund is much appreciated as it will go towards the office visit fees, labs/tests/diagnostics, and overnight stays. Please keep Aspen, Jae, and Melas in your thoughts!

As of Thursday evening (8/04), Aspen has been sent to doggy heaven. He lived a great life and will remain in our hearts forever. Jae, we are all here to love & support you.
