Rick Ackerman's Surgery Fund

My Name is Amber McGimsey and I am a friend of Rick and Andrea.

As most of you know, Rick severely injured his back in February.  It has left him barely able to walk, sit, stand, or sleep.  He is in constant pain, and is only able to find slight pain relief by laying on his side, on the floor.  The Doctors have told him there is nothing further they can do except surgery.  They have been told the surgery will be between $10, 000 and $12,000.  It is important that they do the surgery as soon as possible but the doctor’s office will not schedule it until they pay $6,500 up front. 

The money donated will go to help them ofset the medical bills.

They would never ask for you to help them, so I am asking on their behalf.  Rick has begun to lose strength in is foot. The doctors say it will only get worse the longer he waits, and that he may never regain the strength.
