Harper Jane Schott was born by emergency c-section in the wee hours of the morning Thursday September 8, 2016 . She became distressed just when it was time to push, and was without oxygen for too long. She was born with an almost undetectable heartbeat and was not breathing on her own. She is intubated now, and has a good heartbeat, however, they are very concerned about brain function. Please join us in praying wholeheartedly for a miraculous full recovery for our brand new baby girl. We are already so in love with this little fighter, and want so badly see her grow.

Chad and I are absolutely overwhelmed by your love and support. There really aren't words to express how deeply we can feel each and every prayer being spoken over Harper, Kinslee, Chad and myself. We stand in awe of how far Harper's little reach is across the world and she's only 2 days old!
We don't have much to update other than our baby is still badly struggling. She wants to be a little fighter, but her body is already tired, and she has a long road ahead of her. We implore you to continue your prayer journey with us. We believe that God has chosen us to be Harper's mommy and daddy and we will beg you to support our girl if we have to. She is already so deeply, beautifully loved. It's heartbreaking to stand with our sweet baby girl, looking so seemingly perfect, knowing that we might not get to go home with this little miracle we have been so privileged to have made.
I have so many things I want to say, so many feelings to feel, but there aren't words to describe any of it. Please continue praying with us and for us. We know God is good, and he is perfectly just. We pray for his mercy on our family, we beg for his healing in our baby, we ask for His wisdom as we continue to love Harper Jane by fighting with her and for her and we need his peace as we have no way of controlling any of this. We fully commit Harper to God's will and ask that He would show her unmerited favor.
Again, we love each and everyone of you, we are so thankful for your intercession on our behalf this far and we beg you to continue this prayer journey with us. Our hearts are on the table with this little love of ours
With love,
Chad, Lisa, Kinslee and Harper
