My name is Andrew Nay, I have created this GoFundMe page for my brother-in-law Brian Zunter who passed away on November 5th, 2016 after a battle with diabetes which finally took his leg in October due to an infection that was rampantly destroying the healthy tissue in his leg and left his body weak but fighting on. Brian was a happy and strong person who loved his family and his wife Rachel to his very soul. Our family is devastated and in deep grieving over this tragedy passing and needs help in paying for funeral costs due to the untimely passing at an early age of only 38 years old. The Zunter family has been hit with many things over this past year and this just destroyed all hope in having their Brian healthy and at home to be able to live the life he should have had. The Zunter family would like to thank you in advance for your empathy and contributions to laying their Brian to rest.
The story of the last days of our loving Brian’s life on this earth will give you the compassion and understanding of what our family has truly been through.
Brian Zunter went to the doctor in June of 2016 for a bad infection on the bottom of his foot. The infection had spread so quickly that it destroyed the living tissue in his foot. The doctor had no choice but to amputate the leg just below the knee. After the surgery and physical therapy, Brian was getting back to a fulfilled and present life until November 5th, 2016.
That afternoon Brian was at his new home in Apple Valley with Rachel Irwin when he passed out and 911 had to be called. After being rushed to the hospital and being revived several times over a 50 minute period, the medical professionals were not able to save him. The cause of death was a blood clot in the lung.
It's so tragic to have lost such a smart, talented, caring and loving person. Brian has touched so many of our hearts. Let’s do what we can to raise money for the Zunter family to use as they need either to help financially with funeral costs or to treat the immediate family to whatever they need and hopefully put smiles back on their faces. I thank you from the bottom of my heart on anything you can provide no matter how big or small.
If you cannot contribute financially but would still like to help, please share this story so we can reach as many people as possible.
