Many of you may not know me but no doubt you know the amazing couple that is Johnny and Lisa "Wonder Woman" Carlevale! I've known Lisa since she was a wee lass. To me she has always been a symbol of love, caring and unparalleled positive energy! Johnny is an amazingly talented musician, loving and dedicated father and husband. Both would give their right nut (and yes we all know Lisa has cajones!!) to help anyone in need! Now it's our turn....
As many of you may know, Lisa took quite the fall on a recent family hike (click on the link below for the full story). Lisa has a tough road of recovery ahead. She may miss a minimum of 3 months of work and anywhere between 3 to 4 months before she can bare any weight. For Lisa and Johnny financially, they are in a difficult spot. These are situations we always think about but we're unprepared for when it actually happens.
Lisa being self employed does not qualify her for workers comp or TDI. This financial burden will now fall on Johnny not only to pay the bills but also care for Lisa and Ryder. Lisa REFUSES to allow him to sell a kidney!!!
Thankfully Lisa's surgery went well and now she needs time to heal. Although R&R is good for all of us, not being able to work is not good for the wallet.
I have set up this GoFundMe page to help lessen the financial burden for Lisa and Johnny during her recovery. I chose a goal but whether we reach it or not, every donation helps.
