I am Rita, John’s wife.
At the end of October 2025, John started this journey of his health going downhill.
First, he had a growth removed from his face that tested positive for cancer.
Then, on December 29, 2025, John was diagnosed with a brain tumor and it is affecting his eye sight. This shook up his family from that day forward.
John can no longer do his job as a software developer.
In January 2026, we received devastating news that John was terminal, as he had stage 4B prostate cancer that metastasized to his bones, and this was also the cause of the brain tumor.
The treatment he is receiving is medication to slow the cancer down. John will be on treatment till God calls him home.
John will receive radiation for his brain tumor.
John is very saddened by this news that he will not to get to see our youngest 11 month old granddaughter grow up . He so saddened for all his children and grandchildren. Because we are not sure when God is going to take him home.
Because of the cancer John is confined to home cause he can't drive , he can't help with things the cancer has really changed his life he has lost his independence. He can't go any where unless someone takes him.
Right now, I am juggling household duties, taking our 10-year-old daughter Trinity to her activities, taking and making all John's appointments and any thing else he needs help with and being the primary wage earner.
All side affects from the cancer medication and treatment has limited his ability to do the things he loves, like working . be independent, and participate in activities with his wife, daughters, sons-in-laws, grandchildren, other family members and friends.
This cancer really changed everything for our family especially for Trinity and I as we are living this every day and seeing changes in him every day.
We are humbly asking for help with John's cancer treatment and medication ,our daily necessities and help with utility bills.
