URGENT CASE UPDATE: My son Andrew Borysov was taken out of the United States without my consent or knowing on January 9th, 2023. It was 9 months that I did not get to see , hear or have any knowledge about my boy. During this time I have been working with local US law enforcement, FBI, Department of State NCMEC and Advocacy group Shine the Light on Abducted Children to get my son back. Due to the USA and UAE not having any treaties makes it nearly impossible. Alongside this, the Johnson County Court amended the original ex parte order, which gave the father more grounds in being able to keep the child. Although the father stipulated at the court hearing, that took place on November 21, 2023, that the court had jurisdiction for grounds of divorce, he did not follow through with his agreement , nor does UAE require it because of the lack of treaty and having different laws in place for these type of situations which take place in a court setting. I came to the UAE on December 7th, 2023 to pick up my son and soon after landing saw that the fathers response was that he would not transfer the son over to my care. I have been stuck in the UAE since then trying to fight for my son. The only way to win a case like this here is to get a Family Lawyer which costs an overly large amount. I have found a very well known lawyer in Dubai but I need assistance to get the fee of $16,000 or AED52,000, full cost to have the team of lawyers fight my case. I have until January 17th to get this paid. I left the USA and I have nothing here in the UAE, no job, no place, no car, due to the fact of how the situation turned out. I ask as a mother to have your help in fighting to get my boy back. The lawyer made it very clear that if not acted fast upon the situation that I will lose Andrew, my son. The father has filed a travel ban preventing my son from leaving and is fighting to get custody. I need a fair fighting chance, and with your help this is possible.
