Lost Everything in a House Fire

Hey Everybody! My name is Mickile, im 29 years old and i have a 2 year old Son who is a Junior. We live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the southside. Last night i woke up around 3:30am to my house filled with smoke. I literally grabbed my son so fast and grabbed my car keys, wallet and thats it. Tried to leave but the only exit was blocked off by flames and smoke. I realized we were trapped upstairs. But then thought i am not allowing this to happen to my son. I ran back to my room and kicked out my air conditioner and hop out to the roof.. jumped to the neighbors roof.. and thats all she wrote.. all that matters to me is that i got my baby out and we are alive. Material things can be replaced. But then thats the hard part. We are now homeless and only have the clothes on my back. After everything i worked so hard for. I never experienced anything like this. Its so hard.. literally anything helps. I have a few leads already on 1-bedroom apartments and that is my next goal and where any money we can raise will go to a new house.. still have my job and car. So it’s not over…Thank you world.
