The person everyone needs in their life is unfortunately now in need. Everyone that knows Seth Markley knows he’s always willing to give you a hand to help you in any way he can, no matter what’s going on at the time in his life. You could be having the worst day possible and Seth always finds his way to make it positive and put a smile on your face. Seth went to Canyon on July 26th for a good time and catch up with some good friends he hasn’t seen in a while because the man works 24-7 no matter if he’s getting paid or not he’s putting in the work somewhere. Seth was going over a 70foot table to a downside of a mountain when he saw someone at the bottom and pulling the brakes mid whip causing the bike to shut off and stop rotation. Seth broke his back in 4 places, broke 11 ribs, broke his sternum, punctured liver, spleen, and kidney, also bleeding in his lungs. Thankfully he is stable and saved his melon! Grateful is an understatement for good friends and great medics he was in very good hands and still is, but off in the ambulance he went…with no health insurance… Even all broken up and in tons of pain he remains in good spirits and crack jokes trying to make the best of this hospital stay and making it as pleasant as possible, remembering to keep it positive and send her silly! He’s expected to be in here for minimum 1 week and then the road to the real recovery will begin with months worth of physical therapy. For someone who works as hard as Seth does this has been devastating for him, due to the fact that he now feels that he has let down his clients and he hasn’t been given a rough estimate of how long he will be out of work for. Seth has always been one to put others before himself and he would never want to do this nor is he the type to ask for help. Unfortunately it has to be done. And anything at all helps! We’re extremely grateful that Seth got away from this accident with his life. Materialistic things can be replaced, but he cannot. We are all so incredibly thankful for all the prayers and love and he is as well!!
