Kaitlyn (is) a Life

Kaitlyn, a life entrusted to us as a gift we will always treasure. Her life began on shifting sand that today has created struggles and adversity that have been difficult for her to tackle and overcome. Her dad and I want her to experience the peace and freedom from the rejection she feels as a result of adoption and other life issues. We desperately want her to grow into the woman God has destined her to be and would like for her to have the opportunity to attend a girls home/school that can help her achieve freedom from what has held her captive for most of her life. At present she has been away from home (7 months) at a group home that has not given her the one on one help she needs to move forward. We happened upon the girls home, we would like for her to attend, in such a way that we believe God is directing us in this direction . This group home  is a Christian facility with a student:counselor ratio that would give Kaitlyn the tools she needs in life and help her to understand who she is in Christ.  I will provide a link below of Holy Highway if any of you are interested in checking it out.  The cost of residential treatment is very expensive.  The courthouse has lost Kaitlyns adoption file (still sounds crazy to me) and are in the process of creating/duplicating her new one so, she is not on our insurance but has Medicaid. We don't know if they will pay any of these costs because it is not a facility that is state funded. Although we know Kaitlyn is getting some help at her current group home, our hearts are troubled by things that have happened while she is there. There are so many children (over 200) in this group home that counseling is offered but, not as frequent we feel Kaitlyn needs. She has been jumped 5 times in this home because most of the girls there in her hall are there because of anger and issues with violence. It's scary as a mom leaving your daughter in a place where she has had to adapt because we are seeing her change in a way that greatly concerns us and why we feel we have to seek a different road of restoration for her.
