Bkfld Nutcracker, Hire our Symphony

Bakersfield's Civic dancers and The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra have collaborated to delight Bakersfield families and students in a holiday tradition that has existed for almost 40 years. Each year, the lives of 11,000 families and students are transported to a world where snowflakes dance, dolls come alive, and fairy tales come true, to the wonderful instrumental accompaniment of the live orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. The live accompaniment is the key to making this production so special.
In order to keep this magical experience alive, we must raise the funds to hire The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra to accompany our ballet!
