So..I'm not one to ask for help much. I've tried to take care of myself always and help my family as much as I can.  This is embarrassing and HARD. 

But mom is now 82, and the furnace and AC are kaput.  Yes, both.  What luck.  It's going to cost 5100 that is putting stress on her that I don't want her to have. I'm helping what I can, but it's more than I can do.

Anything you can offer to help offset the cost would be so deeply appreciated. This is a woman who wore 2 pairs of socks and her sandals in winter so I could have shoes.   I have to do something.  This is it.
