Hello,

My name is Kevin. My wife, Kelyn, and I are aiming to raise funds to help her family's home City of Choloma, Honduras. This is a city outside of San Pedro Sula. The entire country of Honduras and Central America has been devastated by Hurricane Eta. 

Choloma is home to many hard working individuals that were barely getting prior to the hurricane and the floods have destroyed what little they had. One Choloma resident stated on the news that he worked so hard to buy a used radio. He was so proud of that and now that radio along with everything including his home is gone. A radio is the least of their concerns but it puts in perspective how little they had before, how much they lost, and how blessed and fortunate we are here in America.

The mission behind this GoFundMe page is to 1) spread awareness to the needs of this country that has been devastated by Hurricane Eta (they have received much attention or aide from their own government), 2) raise funds to help purchase essential goods, and 3) to raise funds to help cover costs associated with international shipping of care packages to this area.

Update: As of today, November 7th, the main airport located at San Pedro Sula is now flooded. That portion of the country is under water and cut off from essential care. Currently air delivery will be delayed until the waters reside at Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport. We are working with their local church, Iglesia de Christo, just outside of San Pedro Sula in the Lomas del Carmen Sector. We are greatfeful for any donation either financial or physical items. In the photos there is contact information if you are interested in donating.
