Hospital & Funeral Expenses for Bob

As most of you know, my father went into cardiac arrest on Monday night. My brother and I had gotten a message from his wife, Bridey, telling us to get to their home immediately. Upon arrival we saw fire trucks and an ambulance outside... Inside my father was on the floor being resuscitated. He died four times that night, and kept getting brought back. The premedical took him via ambulance to Prebyterian hospital. Once we arrived we had to make a decision to have a procedure to see if he had a heart attack... They gave him less than a 50% chance of survival, although he survived it, the next 48 hours were going to be the longest of our lives. My father condition went downhill quickly. He had multiple organ failure and brain damage. He was being fully supported by life support and nothing was improving. Seeing his body struggle was the heardest thing I've ever watched. He passed with my brother, myself and his wife by his side, holding his hands at 8:07 pm, Wednesday night.

We are absolutely devastated and heartbroken. We celebrated his 58th birthday on Saturday, and are fortunate we could all be together one last time. My Dad was the most caring, selfless, compassionate, and patient person I've ever met. He helped and touched so many people's lives. His smile was always genuine and would light up a room. We are in disbelief this has happened to such a young and amazing human. It's a complete tragedy.

As you know, hospital bills and funeral service costs are outrageous. The amounts of all of this are astronomical. I'm asking for any help to support these costs and also help his wife, Bridey, during this difficult time.
