Numerous rounds of Chemo wiped out the small cell quickly but he remained on hormone treatment for the prostate cancer. When that stopped working earlier this year he had to have his prostate removed (radical prostatectomy}. It was discovered during the surgery that the prostate cancer had spread to lymth nodes and the bladder, A blood test called PSA checks for prostate cancer normally it should be around zero. One month after surgery it's up to 46.7 so the doctor have setup bone scans and CT scan and told him it will be some more rounds of Chemo with possible radiation to follow.
