I am Tony Bertovic a friend of Brad's.
Our good friend Brad Godfrey was coming home for his brothers wedding. Upon arriving to Canada Brad experienced some complications with his Colitis condition. He currently is in the hospital in Vancouver. Brad is still expected to be in the hospital for at least another 4-5 days.
Since he has been living out of country he is not covered for his medical costs. Right now his room alone is costing him $1050/day. Currently he is at a total of $6300.
All the money raised will be towards helping Brad cover his medical costs. I am looking to raise the funds within 5 days so he doesn't have the stress of a large medical bill.
As friends of Brad, he always has had his door open for us. He would never hisitate to help anyone in need. Being from the Comox Valley we always come together to aid people in need during difficult times.
I am thankful for any donation made. It all helps alleviate financial stresses Brad is going through. This will help him focus on recovery and hopefully he can celebrate his brothers wedding.
