Lifting up with hands of help
Donation protected
In February of 2017 I was diagnosed with lung cancer, this was a life changing event that has caused a financial burden. Within the last year I completed radiation and chemotherapy and I underwent lobectomy surgery to remove my right lobe.
I have since returned to work however, due to the side effects from the my current treatment I often suffer from shortness of breath, swelling related to fluid buildup, and fatigue, as a result, there are days when I am physically unable to work. This has impacted my living expenses; it has become very stressful trying to make ends meet.
Unfortunately over the last few months my health has continued to decline; I have issues with my heart due to low oxygen levels which drop to 78 and lower with the slightest amount of physical activity. I am now required to wear a supplemental oxygen device at all times to maintain my oxygen level.
Working fulltime as communication representative for a very busy facility has taken a toll on my overall health. Due to the increase in symptoms over the past few months I fear I may no longer be in remission, I have an upcoming appointment later this month for a PET scan which will determine my current health status.
Nonetheless I remain optimistic while fighting to maintain my health and life! Please help me by donating, no amount is too small. I appreciate your kindness and generosity in helping to maintain my medical treatments and living expenses during this stressful and difficult journey.
If you are in a position to donate it is greatly appreciated.
