Papa's Funeral

It is with great sadness that we have to share the unexpected passing of our beloved Papa, Luis Serrano at only 66 y/o on November, 2021.

We all know him as a rock star and a warrior. He would light up the room with his energy, warm smile, kind words, hilarious jokes, crazy drunken moments, and the way he treated everyone genuinely. He loved and cared deeply whether it was his family, friends, or co-workers. He never held back in helping each and one of us in any way possible.

It was not an easy life for him, he would always put a strong face, do what he got to do, and move on. He persisted and kept going amidst life's struggles and his physical condition in the latter part of his existence. He may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.

We want to give him the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. We, as friends and family, are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of the funeral on December 4th from 4 to 8PM at R G Ortiz Funeral Homes Inc located in 22 1st Ave, New York, NY 10009. Any financial contribution would be highly appreciated and of course your presence on Dec 4th would put a smile on his heart.
