My name is Anthony, and I am the Co-Owner of Elderbird Restorations, LLC located in the beautiful mountain town of Cumberland, MD. I opened this business with my best friend to pursue the American Dream, and build on our already expert knowledge of early Americana and antique restoration techniques. We have a passion for antiques and architecture, and we have spent the last year of our lives sacrificing birthdays, and holidays, cultivating a collection of architectural salvage, antique furniture and rare species of wood for custom furniture. We were centrally located in the heart of Cumberland, with a fully operational warehouse and salvage yard, full of equipment and products to meet all of our client needs. On October 30th, 2016 a water main pipe burst into our workshop, flooding the immediate areas, and the entire first floor. We not only lost all of our recently prepped salvage furniture, but also $7,200 in salvage and barn lumber that is irreplaceable. We are still so young as a company, a loss of this magnitude could cripple Elderbird permanently. We are asking our community, friends, colleagues and family to help us raise enough in funds to relocate our operation so we can continue to provide Allegany County with our unique twist on architectural salvage, antique restorations, and custom furniture.
