Help Support Tex St. Bernard’s Road to Recovery
Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Tex St. Bernard, who is currently facing the toughest battle of his life. Tex is the proud owner of Quinte Septic and has been a beloved member of the Quinte community for decades. A man of integrity and strength, Tex has never let his health challenges define him, but right now, he needs our help.
Tex’s Story
Tex’s health struggles began early in life. At just 19 years old, he underwent his first kidney transplant, which unfortunately failed. He received a second transplant at age 27, but again, it was unsuccessful. Since then, Tex has been on dialysis, yet never once did he let these challenges bring him down. For over 30 years, he has continued working hard and contributing to his community, never asking for sympathy or support.
Recently, however, Tex’s health has taken a serious turn. On September 16, 2024, he was admitted to the ICU in Kingston, where he remains in an induced coma while doctors fight to stabilize him. His condition is critical, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult. His partner, Chantel, has been by his side every step of the way, and his amazing children—whom he loves more than anything—have stepped up to run Quinte Septic in his absence. Despite their strength and determination, the medical costs and extended care Tex will require are mounting rapidly.
Why We Need Your Help
Tex has always been a proud, independent man, and sharing his story publicly is something he would never ask for. But we, his friends, are stepping up for him, because he’s always been there for us. Tex does not have private insurance, and the financial burden of his medical care is overwhelming. In addition to his care, Chantel has been unable to work as she remains at his side, making this an even more difficult situation.
We are asking for your help—whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or sharing this story. Any contribution will go directly to covering Tex’s medical expenses, dialysis care, and helping his family stay by his side during this critical time.
How You Can Help
1. Donate – Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and help ease the financial burden on Tex and Chantel.
2. Share – Please share this GoFundMe with your network to help us reach as many people as possible.
3. Pray – We also ask for your thoughts and prayers for Tex’s strength and recovery. Your support, in whatever form, means the world to us.
Tex has always been a rock for those who know him. Let’s rally together to support him in his time of need.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity, support, and love.
