~Sara’s Story~
Hi, We are Peter & Kelly Sotomayor. We raised our two beautiful daughters in a small town in PA.
Our oldest daughter Sara Sotomayor had a severe adverse vaccine reaction when she was 13 years old. Since that time 15 years ago, she has suffered with innumerable autoimmune conditions, debilitating neurological issues, and illnesses which include(d): CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), Fibromyalgia, Lyme, Mold Illness, Allodynia, Mitochondrial damage, MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity), and food sensitivities. Through this she has developed contractures in her wrists, knees, fingers and hip. She has been bed ridden and unable to walk for the past 9 years.
It’s hard to put into words the amount of pain and suffering that we have witnessed our daughter go through. From a young age Sara’s life has been controlled by pain and illness. Dreams, goals, and simply life had to be placed on the back burner as she tried to survive. Most of her days were spent on the couch or in bed hanging on by a thread instead of being outside riding bikes with her sister or hanging out with family and friends.

“My biggest dream is to walk, be healthy and independent,” Sara says. “To feel the joy of being able to do things myself without assistance. To walk, run and swim without limitations. To be able to hug without pain, and to chase dreams and goals that aren’t centered around getting healthy.”
Hope
Due to Sara’s unique injury she has not found relief or healing from regular western medical treatments. But we have hope! We have found the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Spero’s targeted therapies are used to reset the central and peripheral nervous system which reduces pain, increases mobility and heals contractures in many of their patients.
Spero Clinic
The Spero Clinic is a medical treatment center in Arkansas that uses a unique holistic approach to treat contractures and a host of central and peripheral nervous system conditions. They also have a doctor to treat Sara’s PTSD caused by years of pain and illness. The base line treatment is between 12-14 weeks, and in that time a specialized team dedicated to Sara’s unique case will guide her through multiple therapies designed to heal contractures and reset her nervous system. This will will resolve her contractures and increase her mobility and independence. Many of their patients are reporting remarkable improvement through these treatments. It is the only clinic offering these specific treatments worldwide.

For this need we are asking God and sharing with you…first and foremost we ask for your prayers and also ask you to consider sharing financially in this need. The Spero Clinic program is NOT covered by insurance and there are no payment plan options. The money we are fundraising will go to the Spero Treatment Plan, travel, and lodging.
