Help Andrew With His Hospital Bills

Donation protected
Hi guys, as some of you may know my brother in law, Andrew Cunningham has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks.

His health issues started sometime in the summer of 2014 when all of a sudden his leg started to turn purple and swell to several times its normal size. It was incredibly scary and also disgusting. He eventually went to the hospital to have it checked out. Andrew was admitted into the hospital and eventually he was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome(APS).  The short definnition of APS is that it's an autoimmune disorder in which blood clots are just a part of your life. As far as I could tell from a quick google search, there is no cure to this disorder, but it is manageable with medication to help prevent the blood clots.
After Andrew's initial diagnosis he was eventually sent home only to return soon after due to some blood clots that made their way to his lungs. He's had some stints put in to help aid in preventing further clotting from getting to his heart and lungs.
Fast forward about a year and a half, Andrew was managing his disorder, everything seemed to be going fine until he had a fall at work. I havent gotten the full details of the injury he sustained but he was unable to use his left arm at all and it was in a sling for two weeks. While seemingly unrelated to his disorder, the doctors provided us with information at a later date that lead us to believe this fall may have been caused by a mini stroke.
Two weeks ago, Andrew and Emily were getting packed and ready to go on vacation. Emily said she heard a crash in another room and went to check on Andrew. She said she could immediately tell that something wasnt right. Luckily, due to past family history, she was able to recognize that Andrew was having a stroke. She called an ambulance and Andrew was rushed to the hospital. It was confirmed that he had a stroke due to a blood clot that had formed in the frontal cortex of his brain. Andrew underwent surgery to have the blood clot removed, with great success. He seemed to be recovering at an exceptional pace. Further testing revealed that he also had a "Vegetative Growth" on his heart, due to excessive clotting. This morning Andrew underwent open heart surgery to remove the growth. I'm told that the surgery went really well, and there was no further damage to his heart. He will be very sore for a while and it doesnt look like he will leave the hospital anytime soon.

Now is the part where I ask you to part with your hard-earned cash. Ive told you Andrews entire story to paint a picture. He has spent a great deal of time over the past few years in the hospital and doctors visits combined. Emily has been working very hard to handle the bills, but she can only do so much by herself. I know that these bills are weighing on them both and that its something that they arent likely to come out of without some help. Any help you could possibly give would be unbelievably welcome. All proceeds go exclusively to paying off Andrews medical bills. I will continue to update everyone on Andrews progress as often as possible. Thank you for any help you are willing to give, Andrew and Emily are amazing people and they could use all the help they can get. I know they will appreciate it even more than I do. Please help my family in their time of need.
