On Saturday, September 13, Mike was stopped at a red light in Maple Shade, New Jersey, when a drunk driver hit his car. He ended up in the back seat of his CRV, when his seat broke with him still in it. He was rushed to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. There he was taken into surgery to stabilize his broken neck. Later that same day, he was taken into a second surgery for his broken spine. 

Both surgeries went well, however he is now paralyzed from the waist down. He is looking at over a year in a rehabilitation facility. He and his family are facing large bills both medically and to remodel their home to make it handicap accessible for him.

Any help is greatly appreciated. According to him, he did not have this on his 2025 bingo card.
