Lana is a beautiful full of life 9 year old
Little girl.
She was recently diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic. You can imagine how difficult life can be on a daily basis for a young child in a "normal" life, with school, figuring out who you are etc. So you can understand what life has been like for Lana adjusting to her new diagnoses.
So Ryan and I started looking into how we can make life as easy as possible for Lana, and her ability to deal with being a type 1 diabetic. We were very excited to find amazing things for her like, Children's Diabetes Camps, Diabetic Children's Clubs, Different types of Insulin pens, Insulin pumps. It gave us hope that we could give Lana what we wanted from the moment we found out she was a diabetic. To not feel left out during games at school, or be told she can't do something because of her Diabetes, to ever doubt herself in doing ANYTHING because of her Diabetes. And all of these amazing things we found can give Lana just that!
Thus we created Lana's go fund me page! We are trying to raise as much as we can as soon as we can to try and get her into this summer's Children's Diabetes Camp. And hopefully get her, her Insulin pump. We are beyond grateful to anyone who takes the time to read her story and donate. Ryan and I are truly humbled for all of your love and support.
