On Tuesday, May 3rd, my dad went to the doctor with left sided rib pain. They rushed him by ambulance to the ER after an X-ray showed he wasn’t getting air to the left lung. Several more tests showed he has very large tumors in his left lung blocking the airway completely. Biopsies confirmed it is cancer. An MRI of his brain showed it has spread to his brain. Stage 4 Lung cancer… He had chemo on Saturday, May 7, and finally got to go home on Sunday. Tuesday, May 10th he couldn’t stay awake and was running a fever. He went back to the ER and was admitted into the hospital again and the doctors said he is staying at least a few nights. He has already missed a week and half of work and he doesn’t have any health insurance to cover the medical bills he is going to get. I do not want my mom and dad to worry about the medical bills going through this fight with cancer. They have enough to worry about right now, the money to keep the bills paid shouldn’t be one of them. Please help if you can by donating, even if it’s only $5, it will help them very much!
