We love you Dad
On Sunday, August 9, 2020, what we thought would be a short trip to the emergency room, turned out to be a life changing experience. As some of you may already know, the father of my children, Kevin McCurdy, has been diagnosed with stage lV lung cancer. We have also learned that the cancer is in his liver, stomach and brain. Last night, 8/24/2020, Kevin went into cardiac arrest, and is on life support.
His life has been dedicated to our three children; Sean, Brionna and Brooke. The kids have been working tirelessly with a team of doctors to determine the best possible course of action. The kids have not left his side since their dad was admitted to the ER, but his prognosis is not well.
Like many of us, Kevin made no end of life preparations neither financially nor legally. The tragic result is that our kids have been carrying the burden of making life decisions, financial decisions, and legal decisions, as they prepare for the impending worst case...
