COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser

Tax deductible
For years, Kennett Area Community Services has been a pillar of our community; tirelessly serving others, but now they need our help. As COVID-19 spreads across the globe, people within our community depend on KACS more than ever.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, KACS has provided 7-day food supplies for 765 families. Currently, 78 families are requesting aid with rent and utility. In the last two weeks alone, KACS has increased Emergency Assistance by 102%

In response to these growing numbers, the Unionville High School Democrats have partnered with KACS to raise $10,000. Join us in providing basic necessities for families within the Unionville-Chadds Ford community and surrounding areas by donating today. All proceeds go directly to KACS where appropriate supplies will be purchased. For more information on KACS, visit https://www.kacsonline.net/

For direct donations, the Kennett Area YMCA (101 Race St, Kennett Square, PA 19348) will be accepting non-perishable food items Wednesdays and Thursdays 9am-4pm. The following items are requested:

- rice
- jelly/jam
- peanut butter
- canned fish/chicken
- canned fruit
- canned vegetables
- pasta
- cereal
- tomato sauce
- beans
- coffee/tea
